Welcome to Palm Breeze Maids LLC. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, booking platform, and cleaning services. By requesting a quote, booking a service, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Palm Breeze Maids provides residential cleaning services and related cleaning services as described on our website or booking platform. Service availability may vary by location, scheduling, home condition, and staff availability.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel service at our discretion, including for safety concerns, unsanitary conditions, inaccurate booking details, or circumstances beyond our control.

3. Booking and Customer Responsibilities

By booking a service, you agree to provide accurate and complete information, including:

  • Your name
  • Contact information
  • Service address
  • Type of cleaning requested
  • Home size and condition
  • Any relevant entry instructions, pets, or special circumstances

You are responsible for ensuring reasonable access to the property at the scheduled service time. If we are unable to access the property, that appointment may be treated as a cancellation or lockout and may be subject to a fee.

4. Card on File Requirement

A valid credit or debit card on file is required to schedule and maintain service.

By booking with Palm Breeze Maids, you authorize us and our third-party payment processor to store your payment method securely and charge it for:

  • Completed cleaning services
  • Applicable cancellation fees
  • Late cancellation or lockout fees
  • Recurring service charges you authorize

Stored-payment and recurring billing terms should be clearly disclosed before billing information is collected, and customers should be able to cancel without unreasonable obstacles.

5. Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise stated in writing.

By using our services, you authorize Palm Breeze Maids to charge the card on file for the total service amount and any applicable approved fees under these Terms.

If a payment fails or is declined, we may:

  • Retry the payment method on file
  • Pause or cancel future appointments
  • Require an updated payment method before providing additional services

6. Authorization Holds

We may place a temporary authorization hold on your card before your scheduled cleaning appointment for the estimated service amount.

This authorization hold is not a final charge. It is used to confirm the validity of the payment method and may appear as pending depending on your bank or card issuer.

If the authorization fails, we may contact you to update your payment information, and we may cancel or reschedule service if valid payment information is not provided in time.

7. Recurring Services

If you sign up for recurring cleaning services, you authorize us to charge your payment method after each scheduled service unless otherwise stated.

You may cancel recurring service at any time by contacting us before the applicable cancellation deadline for your next appointment. Any already-scheduled appointment remains subject to our cancellation policy unless canceled in time.

Because recurring billing rules are closely scrutinized, it is important that recurring terms, consent, and cancellation mechanisms are clear and easy to use.

8. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

You may cancel or reschedule your appointment without charge if you notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment time.

If you cancel or reschedule at 8:00pm 1 day before your scheduled appointment time, you agree that Palm Breeze Maids may charge a fee equal to $50.00 of the scheduled service price.

If you cancel or reschedule with less than 3 hours notice, you agree that Palm Breeze Maids may charge a fee equal to $100.00 of the scheduled service price.

This fee helps cover reserved scheduling time, route planning, and lost availability.

9. Lockouts and Inaccessible Homes

If our team arrives and is unable to enter the property, or if service cannot be completed because the home is inaccessible, utilities are unavailable, or conditions prevent safe cleaning, the appointment may be canceled and a fee may apply, including up to 50% of the scheduled service price.

10. Estimates and Pricing Adjustments

Prices provided online or during booking may be estimates based on the information you provide. Final pricing may be adjusted if actual conditions differ materially from what was disclosed, including but not limited to:

  • Size of the home
  • Number of rooms
  • Excess buildup
  • Pet hair
  • Heavily soiled conditions
  • Add-on services
  • Time required beyond the original scope

If a significant pricing adjustment is needed, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate it before completing the service.

11. Satisfaction Guarantee and Refund Policy

We do not offer refunds for completed services.

If you are dissatisfied with the quality of your cleaning, you must notify us within 24 hours of service completion. We may, at our discretion, offer to return and address missed areas within a reasonable timeframe.

The re-clean option is the exclusive remedy for service-quality complaints, except where otherwise required by law.

12. Access, Safety, and Home Conditions

For safety and service-quality reasons:

  • The home should have running water and electricity
  • The environment should be reasonably safe for cleaning
  • Aggressive pets should be secured
  • Hazardous materials, pest infestations, biohazards, or unsafe conditions must be disclosed in advance

We reserve the right to refuse or stop service if conditions are unsafe or materially different from what was represented.

13. Items of Value

Customers are responsible for securing cash, jewelry, collectibles, heirlooms, firearms, medications, and other high-value or sensitive items before service.

While we strive to provide careful and professional service, Palm Breeze Maids is not responsible for loss or damage to items not properly secured, except as required by law.

14. Breakage and Damage

If you believe damage occurred during service, you must notify us within 24 hours and provide photos when possible.

Palm Breeze Maids is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Improperly installed items
  • Unstable furniture, fixtures, or décor
  • Damage resulting from defective materials or poor installation

Any claims will be reviewed in good faith on a case-by-case basis.

15. Independent Contractors and Service Providers

Palm Breeze Maids may use employees, subcontractors, or independent service providers to perform some or all services.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive any rights or obligations that apply under state or federal law. California authorities continue to scrutinize worker misclassification in cleaning and janitorial contexts, so your website should avoid making inaccurate legal claims about worker status beyond what is actually true for your business.

16. Website Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Misuse the website
  • Attempt unauthorized access
  • Interfere with the website’s operation
  • Use false information when requesting quotes or bookings

We may suspend or restrict access to the website for misuse.

17. Communications Consent

By submitting your contact information, you agree that Palm Breeze Maids may contact you by phone, text message, and email regarding:

  • Bookings
  • Appointment reminders
  • Service updates
  • Billing matters
  • Customer service follow-up
  • Promotional offers, where allowed by law

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time. Transactional messages related to active bookings may still be sent.

18. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Palm Breeze Maids shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services or website.

Our total liability for any claim relating to services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, except where prohibited by law.

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Palm Breeze Maids, its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the website, or conditions at the service location that were not properly disclosed.

20. Changes to Appointments or Services

We reserve the right to reschedule, modify, or cancel appointments due to weather, illness, staff availability, emergencies, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If we need to reschedule your appointment, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you promptly.

21. Privacy

Your use of our website and services is also subject to our Privacy Policy.

22. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

23. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
